Our Condolences go out to Monique Janssen and the entire Janssen family through these challenging times. 

Harry Janssen was the founder of Arubaanse Atletiek Bond in 1963 and also served as its President for almost 40 years. Building the foundation of Aruba's Track & Field & Road Running on the island. Both the Athletics National Championship and the Boulevard Loop 10K run bear his name in honor of his contribution to the sport.

He is also the founder of Sport Caribe Aruba, a sports company that has supported athletes of all sports for many decades and continues its legacy to this day. As some may know, the outside window of Patrishi Store, displays a picture of him competing in his younger years. This is in homage to Harry Janssen as the biggest and most invaluable contributor to Athletics in Aruba.
